Classic Coir Factory started functioning in September 1995 and it is one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of coir door mats, rubber mats, Jute rugs etc. It is manufacturing eco-friendly natural fibre products and the factory is located in Alleppey, the home town of Coir. Alleppey is surrounded by Arabian sea in the west and back waters in and around other borders of this great city. Alleppey is renowned for Coir and Back-water tourism.

A new factory was set up in 2010 for the production of PVC backed coco mats in rolls as well as any mat size in various thicknesses ranging from 15mm to 30 mm. There are two machines in this unit and the production capacity is 1500 sq.mtrs. a day. The PVC backed coco rolls are available in a maximum width of 200 cms and in lengths preferred by the buyers.

Classic Coir has got a team of professionals to look after various functions. Right from the procurement of raw materials, the quality control checking is strictly followed. In-house checking of the products during production and finishing ensures that only good quality products free from any complaint is exported. All products are house-stuffed in the containers which ensures proper stacking of goods.


Classic Coir is specialized in product mix in Area Rugs and Carpets. Jute, Coir, Sisal, Wool etc. are used for the various beautiful rugs. CCFs standard sizes of Rugs ranges from 2x3ft to 12x15 and in the case of wall to wall coverings, it is in 400 cms width and length upto 30 metres.


By supplying quality products and keeping the scheduled delivery time, the company has gained goodwill and reputable position in the international market. Its products are being exported to USA, UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece, Austria, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Australia, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Brasil, South Africa etc. Classic Coir has been granted an Export House status by the Government of India as a result of its consistent good export performance.
