Classic Coir Factory started functioning in September 1995 and it is one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of coir door mats, rubber mats, Jute rugs etc. It is manufacturing eco-friendly natural fibre products and the factory is located in Alleppey, the home town of Coir. Alleppey is surrounded by Arabian sea in the west and back waters in and around other borders of this great city. Alleppey is renowned for Coir and Back-water tourism.

A new factory was set up in 2010 for the production of PVC backed coco mats in rolls as well as any mat size in various thicknesses ranging from 15mm to 30 mm. There are two machines in this unit and the production capacity is 1500 sq.mtrs. a day. The PVC backed coco rolls are available in a maximum width of 200 cms and in lengths preferred by the buyers.
